i returned back to the previous chapter, got the torque bow. Initially, i did not have the torque bow which you need (i think you have to to have it) to kill RAAM. Update (): I was able to kill the RAAM using the torque Bow. I would truly appreciate if i get some advise on how to kill the RAAM. FYI, i have already tried at least 50 times. At one point, i was out of everything and tried using the Lencer chainsaw and of course I died. I tried using all of them on RAAM, I mean used literally all ammo and grenades without any success. I am playing SOLO and right now i have a Sniper, a lencer and 4 grenades. I have watched a couple of YT videos but could not kill the RAAM. I completely stuck in ACT-5-Pale Horse-"Kill the RAAM". I completed the other parts till Gears 5, never had a chance to play Gears of War (2006). This is a big question for me because for a span of about 6 months in GOW, I was the best I've ever been at a video game.Hey guys, I know it's too old but I just started playing Gears of War (2006) on XBOX. You know when you play with a weapon for hours and hours and the programmers slightly change the code and you can tell the difference? That's how I felt.
Did I just get worse? I could have sworn that after hours and hours of playing something was different about the Torque Bow in the sequels. So what was different? Do you guys know? Was I just better at manipulating auto assist in Gears of War 1? This is one of my all time big GOW questions. I never felt unbeatable with it and died many times with it when I really shouldn't have. In Gears 2 and 3 I only had flashes of brilliance with it. I honestly might have been in the top 100 in the world or something with that thing when not host. I don't want to sound arrogant, but in Gears of War 1 if I got my hands on a Torque Bow, it wasn't hard for me to kill the entire other team. It's 2015 and I still haven't figured out why I didn't get as good. Before 3 came out I remember saying all the time I hope the Torque Bow was more like 1 than 2. From like 2008-2011 I used to complain on the EPIC forums saying how something about the Torque Bow felt "off" in Gears of War 2 and 3.
